4.2 Apple Vision Framework & VisionKit 100% LOCAL

• Purpose: Powers the Document Scanner for text recognition (OCR) and format conversion
• Data Processing: All document scanning, image to text conversion, and format conversion occur 100% locally on your device
• Privacy: Your scanned documents and converted files never leave your device

6. Local Processing & Scanner Features

The following features process data entirely on your device with no external servers:

• AI Content Detector: Pattern analysis and detection performed 100% locally on your device LOCAL
• Document Scanner: Uses Apple's VisionKit and Vision framework for OCR and text extraction - all processing is local LOCAL
• Scan & Convert: Format conversions happen locally on your device LOCAL
• Detection Results: Stored locally on your device and accessible in Settings LOCAL
• Chat Messages: Stored locally on your device and accessible in Settings LOCAL

Data processed locally never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or third parties.

7. Data Storage and Security

• No Permanent Storage: We do not store your AI detection results, grammar checks, scanned documents, chat messages, or translated text on our servers
• Real-Time Processing: AI features (grammar checking, chat, translation, summarization) process requests in real-time and do not retain your data
• Local Storage Only: Detection results (0 saved), chat messages (0 messages), and scanned documents are saved only to your device
• Clear All History: You can delete all locally stored data anytime from Settings → Clear All History
• Free Service: All grammar checking, AI detection, and text tools are completely free
• Security Measures: Industry-standard encryption protects data in transit to Cloudflare AI services

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with:

• Cloudflare Workers AI: To provide AI-powered features (Grammar Checker, Chat, Translator, Summarizer, Paraphraser). AI Detection and Document Scanner are 100% local and do NOT share data.
• Legal Obligations: When required by law or to protect our rights

Note: We do NOT use advertising services. Your data is not shared with advertisers.

9. Children's Privacy

Grammar AI Plagiarism Checker is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at grammaraiapp@gmail.com, and we will delete such information immediately.

• Clear All History: Go to Settings → Clear All History to delete all local data
• Camera Permissions: Manage camera access for document scanning in iOS Settings → Privacy

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own when using Cloudflare Workers AI services. Cloudflare operates globally, and we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

Note: AI Detection and Document Scanner features process all data locally on your device and do not involve international transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

Word Counter: 100% local. Summarizer & Paraphraser: Cloudflare AI. No permanent storage.
